Things I wished I had in my school/college time. #CloudBlogathon

Indiblogger asked me to tell them what I wish I had in your school or college, and how it would have helped you. Below listing are Ideas and Things which i wished I should have had in college.

1. How to pay attention in class. I really didn't have patience to keep attention. It would have helped me score more marks smartly.

2. Happiness/mental health comes first, if you don't have enough friends or don't get enough sleep you won't be happy enough to get your work done efficiently

3. Don't hang out with people that will draw you away from college life. This would have helped me get me my friends.

4. How to form study groups with people (start by doing them a favor, such as giving them the lecture notes for a class they missed, or teaching them how to do something on their problem set). Team work you see. Learnt now. Mass sharing of knowledge is awesome. I do it now through Facebook and linked in groups.

5. Keep your room organized and figure out a plan for getting healthy meals without spending too much time on cooking. Don't eat out every day, you will gain weight and spend a lot of money. Also make sure you have enough clothes for all weather, it really improves your quality of life. In general try to be organized and have the basic life skills down because it will really help.

6. Have a roommate, it's a lot less lonely to come back to your room at night and see that someone else is there. This depends on your style though, and to a large extent it depends on how easy you are to get along with (if you're easy to get along with, you'll find that most of your roommates are good roommates, and if not, you'll find that most of them are bad roommates). I should have got a good roommate though..

7. Take all your notes in the same notebook, and for every class, try to squeeze all the lecture material onto the front and back side of one page. This cuts down on how much you have to carry around with you.:) Thinking now!!

8. Back up your files on Dropbox: I wish Microsoft 365 been there to save my butt when my computer broke. I lost many files then...

9. I wished my apartment had an air conditioner.:) you know why.

10. SmartPhone with a sexy WIFI router. Internet wherever I go. I really didnt have one. I would have been more smarter :P

11.I had a bit more money,I shouldn't have slept on dorm room bed, instead should have bought my own awesome mattress and use the dorm room bed as a couch. Good sleep is worth it.

12.Guitar Knowledge. some easy chords learnt ,many more chicks met.

13.Blogging: Should have had a Blog where I post random stuffs about college . would have been more famous. :)

Well there are many more. Wish I had a chance to go to school again with these ideas and things.

Jiah Khan, Suicide & Nishabd- Glam Life

On June 4, Bollywood woke up to the distressing news of 25-year-old actress Jiah Khan's death. She allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her Juhu residence in Sagar Sangeet late on Monday night. The actress had shifted from London to Mumbai with her mother Rabiya Khan, hoping to make a career in films

This 'yet again' highlights the pressure, frustration and despair that come as a part and parcel of the glamour life. What starts with starry-eyed glitz ends up to hopelessness which several celebrities have succumbed to:

Glam Girls who committed suicide:

  • Monal: died on April 14, 2002

The actress, sister of South star Simran, was found hanging in her room in Chennai. The reason was reportedly a heartbreak.

  • Nafisa Joseph: died on July 29, 2004

The model, VJ and Miss India Universe 1997 hanged herself in her Mumbai flat. She apparently took the step because her marriage was called off.

  • Kuljeet Randhawa: died on feb 8, 2006

The actress-model hanged herself at her apartment in Juhu. In the suicide note, she said that she was ending her life as she was unable to cope with life's pressures.

  • Viveka Babajee: died on june 25 2010

The Mauritian model-actress was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her apartment in Mumbai. She apparently committed suicide due to depression.

  • In 1962, legendary Hollywood star Marilyn Monroe was found dead in her home.

  • Silk Smitha

South sex-symbol Silk Smitha was found dead on the morning of September 23 in her home in Saligramam near Chennai

  • Divya Bharti
The tragic end of the 19-year old Divya Bharti, who had fallen from the window of her fifth floor apartment around midnight on 5th April, 1993 still stays as one of the most shocking deaths ever.

Well thats Nishabd

And the worst is a twelve-year-old boy has allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling hook in Sriganganagar city with family members claiming he was apparently upset over actress Jiah Khan's death.
Never know how true is this incident.

For all these this is what I have to state through my facebook. Believe me ,Suicide is never an option. Suicide is a permanent solution for a temporary problem. You are so very beautiful, and so is life. You have so much to live for. Someone will miss you. Stay.

Narayana Murthy Back To Infy. Suprising

Something that he hasn't imagined in his "wildest dreams", N R Narayana Murthy on Saturday described his "second innings" at Infosys as an exciting yet "somewhat" a new challenge.

Actually India is lucky to have brilliant people like you in India itself. All others have gone abroad.

Putting those thoughts, he has taken a good decision to restore the glory of struggling Infosys and put it in the driving seat, ahead of TCS, HCL and Wipro.

But In the other ways its the Dangerous precedence. Shows lack of leadership in the organisation and the environment. One-man show is not a strategic vision. Infosys should definitly learn to build the leaders.

There are 2 people who is one of the true leaders in India, Narayan Murthy and Asim Premji.

Apple without Steve , Microsoft without Gates , England without Queen , Japan without Toyoda ,Berkshire without Buffet and Infosys without Murthy.

Perhaps you should know his past.

  • Murthy graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from the National Institute of Engineering, University of Mysore in 1967 after attending government school.
  • He received his master's degree from IIT Kanpur in 1969.
  • His first position was at IIM Ahmedabad as chief systems programmer where he worked on a time-sharing system and designed and implemented a BASIC interpreter for ECIL (Electronics Corporation of India Limited).
  • Murthy co-founded Infosys in 1981 in Pune with an initial capital of 10,000 rupees, which was borrowed from his wife Sudha Murthy.

Welcome back..Mr Infy.
