 Should India Ban the Chinese?

India cannot completely ban Chinese goods as it is against the norms of World Trade Organisation.

but think about how silly and immature this will be.

Let’s say you play a game of Cricket and you are not given a batting chance. Would you pick your bat & stumps and go home? Would that be a sign of maturity?

While you should fight for your batting chance and stand up to bullying, you should also learn to work in a team & not run away from it.?

Now lets talk statistics:

China imports only 0.8% of its total imports from India while India imports 12.4% of its total imports from china.

China exports only 2.3% of its exports to India while India exports 4.3% of its exports to China.

This is what would happen if Chinese products are banned:-

  • Unemployment : The street hawkers mostly sell Chinese products.  They will be jobless and the current employment scenario in our country would worsen. And it is a known fact that creating employment opportunities is difficult.

  • Inflation: A dress stitched in Italy is going to cost 10 times more than a dress stitched in China. If Chinese products are discouraged , prices are going to rise.

  • Less choice for financially weak: Generally we are of the assumption that anything made in China is of low quality. But quality is subjective.

Quality can be different according to the needs of a consumer.

For instance- Imagine a market situation where rubber boots are either manufactured by China or by Gucci.

It is very obvious that most people cannot afford Gucci.

The need of those consumers is fulfilled by China.

Lastly we are in the era of globalization.

The basic criteria for buying of goods must be QUALITY of the product.

We don't stop buying Apple phones because it is not from India, do we?

Banning Chinese product to encourage pseudo nationalism is not an answer. India and china have Trade of close to 70+ billion dollars where India exports only 11+billion dollars. This tells you the trade deficit is over 50+ billion dollars.

This should be concern for India. This must be rectified for India’s growth

Get the Best when you are Low on Energy

Low on Energy

At times in my life, I find a little low in my energy - Then I write. Why writing? It is a stress buster to myself , like a gym to my mental health. Mental health needs nutrients like writing, reading, singing, art etc to be more sound.

What do you do when your head is blank? This seems to connect with what writers call them 'writers block'.This may be also said that your energy is low, you dont feel like doing anything.I suggest to do either of the one- exercise or sleep. Both of this should be done without thinking anything- not even what is happening to your life now. Exercise makes your blood flow better and eventually gets your 'feel good' hormones to rise.

Being productive will add more sense to make your life a better one. A sense of urgency will always give you more stress. Keep calm, create more free time to yourself and work on being better.

What can you do when you feel low on energy?
- set a timer for 25 mins and just scribble what you are feeling right now. Edit it later. Forget grammar, just keep writing
- Go for jogging- start with small pace and add more pace. Running really brings the energy back.
- Music, listen to your favourite music again.
- Youtube motivational videos, there are tons of motivational videos in you-tube which will help you energized.
- Clean your room or workspace and feel accomplished.

What not to do?
-Food :unless you are really hungry, you will end up over eating
-Listening to sad songs
-Watching depression movies.

Focus on permanent (Click this link for recommended Online therapy) solution, you may do drugs or alcohol to temporarily feel better, but eventually it kills. Get small accomplishments and build on it. Use your low energy to better habits and build more better harnished energy.

Mini Habits Series: #1 One Bucket Water Showers

It seems we take most of our decisions in showers where the water and mind is continuously running in the background and we are in a hypnotic state of mind where we dont know what we are doing.

It seems we don't care how much water is gone, we just kinda like it that way deliberately wasting precious resources- water and time.

So I thought let me take a step to end this from my side. I have used only one bucket of water today instead of unlimited showers. This is my today's mini habit.

Friends that Matter- Part 2

Best part of being a blogger is that I can write about you anytime. Now since I have written one post already , I am continuing the same here.

Zabi ,
Dude, you are one awesome person I could ever meet. Despite our disagreements, we still agree to the extent that our disagreements wouldn't even matter. He bullies me many times and I bully him twice the amount from cafeteria to facebook comments. A huge SRK fan even though he knows that most of his movies recently are shit. Get well soon brother.

Meg,
A true masterpiece from the gods design partner program. She is someone I can bank in my life for anything. She is overwhelmingly truthful which is bad but not sad. Now that she is in the main page of my diary and will continue to be forever, I have an extra responsibility to make her smile everyday.

 Lekhu,
She travels from TN to bangalore daily to attend the office. Big drama queen- but bearable. Down to earth attitude. Addicted to her silly humor.

Chandrika,
A friendship repaired when there was nothing required to repair. Filled in her own world, we have a beautiful bond of friendship- something unique something pure. A extraordinary dedicated sweetest friend anyone can ever get.
I dedicated this pic in her wall. Lol

So dear friends, hope you liked my dedication in my blog. Just make sure to keep in touch like you always do. Go away from me and I will kill you like Game of thrones.

Paar Channa De- The Story Behind The Song

I was mesmerized to listen to this song. I believe this is one of the beautifully rendered traditional song in Coke studio.

Source: Tejpal Singh Via: pinterest.com

Sohni took the pot and began her journey to meet her lover.  When she was a quarter of the way across, she realized something was wrong.  The sturdy piece of pottery that served as her lifesaver was melting into the water.  She called for her Mahiwal.  Mahiwal heard his love’s cries.  He swam as far as he could with his limp leg.  He met her drowning body halfway through the river but he could not hold himself up against the current.  While holding on to each other, they both drowned in the Chenab River.”

Legend has it that the bodies of Sohni and Mahiwal were recovered from the Indus River near Shahdadpur, Sindh, somewhere near Hyderabad, Pakistan.
Sohni’s tomb is located at Shahpur Chakar Road, Shahdadpur, and is visited by lovers.

Song: Paar Chanaa De
Album: Coke Studio 9
Singers: Noori, Shilpa Rao
Music Directed By: Noori
Produced by: Strings

Paar chana de disse kulli yaar di
Ghariya ghariya aa ve ghariya (x2)

Right there across the chenab river lies
My beloved's hut
Come on, clay-pot, let’s keep going

Raat haneri nadi thathaan maardi
Ariye ariye haan ni ariye

The night is deathly dark
The river waves surge high around us
Oh listen, girl, don’t be stubborn

Paar chana de disse kulli yaar di
Ghadeya ghadeya aa ve ghadeya
Raat haneri nadi thathaan maardi
Ariye ariye haan ni ariye

Kachi meri mitti kacha mera naam ni
Haan main na-kaam ni
Ho main naakaam ni, haan main na-kaam ni

Kachi meri mitti kacha mera naam ni
Haan main na-kaam ni
Kacchiyaan da hunda kacha anjaam ni
Eh gal ‘aam ni

I am a pot made of unbaked clay
Bound to melt away in the river
Being unsound and unsteady
I cannot but fail in carrying you across
The unsound can only reach an unsound end
This is a truth known to all

Kacheyaan te rakhiye na umeed paar di
Ariye ariye haan ni ariye

Raat haneri nadi thaathaan maardi
Ariye ariye haan ni ariye

Don't rely on the unsound
To help you reach the shore
Oh listen, girl, don’t be stubborn

Paar chanaa de disse kulli yaar di
Ghadeya ghadeya aa ve ghadeya
Raat haneri nadi thaathaan maardi
Ariye ariye haan ni ariye

Ho oh o.. Ho..

Vekh chhallan paindiyan nah chhaddeen dil ve (x2)
Ajj mahiwaal noon main jaana mil ve (x2)

Look, the waves are splashing higher and higher
But don’t lose heart
I must go to meet mahiwal this night at any cost

Vekh chhallaan paindiyan na chadden dil ve
Haan laike khil ve
Ajj mahiwaal nou main jana mil ve
Haan aiho dil ve

Look, the waves are splashing higher and higher
but don’t lose heart
so help transport me there
I must go to meet mahiwal this night at any cost
yes, my heart insists on going

Yaar noon milegi ajj laash yaar di (x3)
Ghadeya ghariya aa ve ghariya
Paar channah de disse kulli yaar di
Ghadeya ghadeya aa ve ghadeya
Paar channa de dise khull yaar de
Ghadeya ghadeya aa ve ghadeya

Tonight, a lover will be greeted
With the corpse of his beloved
Come on, clay-pot, let’s keep going

Raat haneri nadi thaathaan maardi
Adiye adiye aa ni adiye

Paar chaana de disse khulli haan kulli
Ve kulli yaar di
Ghadeya ghadeya aa ve ghadeya
Raat haneri nadi thaathaan maardi
Adiye adiye aa ni adiye

Phad pallara
Phad pallara pakke murshad da
Jehda tainu paar lagaave
Jehda tainu paar lagaave

Hold firmly to
Hold firmly to the sound guide
Who will take you safely to the shore

Ghariya (x15)
Tainu paar lagaave (x7)
Ghariya (x7)

O clay pot, take you safely to the shore
O clay-pot

I loved the original version as well. The matka sound is mystical, so is Arif's Lohar sound.

I can't still get over this song

That Perfect Wife

Hold on, there is nothing called perfect wife in this world but why this title for this post?
This is just to indicate that finding that perfect wife is what everyone does when you really have nothing called so.

Why do we want to find someone or something perfect?
I have been through some marriage proposals in the past which I am not proud of. Why?
Because I aimed at getting the perfect girl when good was 'best' enough.I could have easily moulded her later.

There was this girl who was an inch taller than me with heels. It seemed that it was not perfect and not good enough.Another girl, had her only dreams in marriage settling abroad and she wouldn't even settled for anything less which I happily rejected. Not that I wouldn't be able to do that. This was just the thinking of 'my dreams' rather than 'our collective dreams'.

Then I found her, the one I wanted who was just next to me as my closest friend. But what will it make me chose her amongst all others? Its that I know her good and bad side.I dont care about her past. All that matters is her future in greatness.

I slowly tried to mould her to perfection by advising her to read more books, get wiser. But I failed to mould her because even though it will make her life wiser, it will take her out of her comfort zone to deal with it.

Why do I want my girl to be perfect?
Because knowing life is different. When you start to do things outside of your comfort zone, that is when you see the truth of life. Things are changing and she realises it now. One day I would want my girl to be awesome and stand out in the crowd with prideness that she is knowledgable, intelligent and confident.

That Perfect Wife- doesn't exist. It only needs some few characteristics but It doesn't exist.

You just get perfect life, its tough to get perfect wife.

Fiction and Non Fictions: Beer and Wine

Did you compare your reading speeds with fiction and non fiction?

I tried to deal with this analogy with drinking beer and wine. My reading speed is comparatively slow with other book bloggers. I manage to finish a non fiction in 3 weeks, 1/2hr a day. I finish a fiction in 1.5 weeks, 1/2hr a day.
My recent read in non fiction is 'The Art of Thinking Clearly' by Rolf Dobeli.

Evidently, I take more time reading a nonfiction compared to a fiction. Because I have to analyse the thoughts, digest and relate it. Its definitely not a fast read.I read it like drinking wine, slow and steady.

I engulf my beer like reading fiction. Reading between the lines and finishing some awesome books with bottomsup.

They have thier ways of reading. If you mix it up though, you would not be able to enjoy the taste.

So what do you like? Beer or Wine?

I saved a life from suicide when the whole colony was just watching

This happened in S.G Palya,Bangalore . I was moving from Jayanagar to SG palya( near forum) and I just finished shifting things.
Around 10 pm, I was reaching my new place and I hear someone crying from the ground floor. I opened the gate to see the whole colony just watching from outside.
Suddenly a small girl around 6 years age comes near me crying and says “Uncle Uncle , my father my father… “. Initially I thought perhaps the father hit the child, but then I see that her father had locked one of the door from inside. I see her mother trying to bang the door as hard as possible but in vain. With full force I bang the door and with three attempts the door opens and I see her father hanging himself and some white liquid( kinda mucous ) in his mouth.I used all my power to catch him and released the sari which he used for hanging. His wife thanked me and even fell on my feet. I was shocked to see that I was able to help save a Life.
Later I came to know that he had hanged himself just because of some small fights regarding purchase of new mobile.
I gave a sarcastic smile to all the people who were watching this from their respective homes and went back to my room.
I was not able to sleep that whole night.I felt so awesome.
And If god gives me the opportunity to save more, I will gladly help without even thinking twice.

This Tall Friend

There are some friends who make me feel genuity in life. At times we go, disappear from them and they get angry. Later on we miss them, message them, they express thier anger and then friendship gets really stronger. I am happy that I have found some of these friends.

But this girl is a gem, taller than me by atleast 1.5 inches, so chances to get married to her (which I would even try) gets really tough unless I become as handsome as Tom cruise( He is shorter than Jolie). She is pretty, Sings well and is a teacher by profession. This profession is very holy and this would also help her while raising her kids for sure. No extra tuitions required.

She has a very lovely hair and beautiful eyes. She is very unique.

In life, what matters most is to be in utmost simplicity. Wear your dress for your comfort rather than attention. Seek respect more than attention. I love the way she dresses up.

How did our friendship start? It started with me sending her a fb message saying that my gut feeling is that she can sing. Then we started recording our singing and send it. Eventually I was right, she had a lovely voice.

Its not about love everytime, Real friendship is hard to break, easy to maintain but very hard to find. I am happy I found you.

Pure Organic Olives Just Arrived.

Happy Friendship 😊

P.S: why did I write this post up? She asked me to do so. 😂

Fish in a Organization

I just recieved this forward from whatsapp:

Great Lesson for everyone to learn from this Fish Theory
A country always loved fresh fish, but the water close to the country has not held many fish for decades.
So to feed the population, fishing boats got bigger and went farther than ever.

The further the fishermen went, the longer it took to bring the fish.
If the return trip took more time, the fish were no longer fresh.

To solve this problem, fish companies installed freezers on their boats.
They would catch the fish and freeze them at sea.
Freezers allowed the boats to go farther and stay longer.

However, people could taste the difference between fresh and frozen fish and they did not like the taste of frozen fish.

The frozen fish brought a lower price.
So, fishing companies installed fish tanks.
They would catch the fish and stuff them in the tanks, fin to fin.

After a little thrashing around, they were tired, dull, and lost their fresh-fish taste.
The fishing industry faced an impending crisis!
But today, they get fresh-tasting fish to the country.
How did they manage...?

To keep the fish tasting fresh the fishing companies still put the fish in the tanks, but with a small shark?

The fish are challenged and hence are constantly on the move.
The challenge they face keeps them alive and fresh!

Have you realized that some of us are also living in a pond but most of the time tired and dull....?

Basically in our lives, sharks are new challenges to keep us active.

If you are steadily conquering challenges, you are happy.
Your challenges keep you energized.

Don’t create Success and revel in it in a state of inertia.
You have the resources, skills and abilities to make a difference.

I replied with:

On a lighter note:
I can relate this to, we are all fishes in the same pond who gets motivated to stay fresh( productive) inorder to satisfy the person(your organization)who is going to eat us fresh for satisfying his taste buds(money).

AAMIR Khan: From Incredible to Intolerance

So with the burning outrage I posted this in facebook:

Amir Khan who mocked Hinduism predominantly in his movie PK says intolerance is rising in our country!

Irony just killed itself.

And If Amir Khan and his wife really thinks India is unsafe, we should not stop them from moving out of India. Safety comes first.

I suggest Amir to really go to Pakistan and shoot PK2 which mocks about thier dominant religion and give us a feedback of how 'intolerance' works outside India.

Take care brother.

We brought these 3 khans to fame, but one is terrorist sympathizer and the other two finds India unsafe.

While Modi is trying his level best to develop India and give the world a new view of how they look at India. These Bollywood stars are busy demolishing India after attaining all the fame they ever imagined.

Talking about hypocrisy, Amir Khan is no less than anyone.

Some really good questions to Amir Khan..

In 1965, when a movie called Shaheed released, Manoj Kumar became the patriotic hero of India. So much so, that after the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri asked him to create a film based on the popular slogan Jai Jawan Jai Kissan (hail the soldier, hail the farmer). He was called ' Bharat Kumar ' all over India. Fast forward to 2001. The year Lagaan released. The film was a super hit and Aamir suddenly became the thinking man's actor. The films that followed, build on his nationalistic image. He was called, the perfectionist. The god of Indian cinema, who could do no wrong. But guess what ? Aamir is no superman. He an is ordinary guy. And a hypocrite at that.
Here are ten glaring hypocrisies of Aamir Khan :

1) He has issues with the desi awards, but chases the videshi ones.  Aamir Khan refuses to attend award functions in India, but spends months " lobbying " for the movie Lagaan, when it got nominated for the Oscars. Not just that, the  total budget for Lagaan's Oscar publicity was $2 million (Rs 9.6 crore). You see, all this was just to get as many members of the committee to watch the movie, as possible. Its another matter, that most people fell asleep post interval, because it was three hour, 42 minute film. So, Mr Khan, if your movie was so great, why not let the film do the talking !!

2) A few months before the release of the movie 'Rang De Basanti ' , Mr Khan lends his support to the anti-development Narmada Bacho Andolan against building the Narmada Dam by socialist  Medha Patkar. But a few months later, after he earned himself a title of  " Environmentally Concious Star " he completely disassociated himself with the movement. Its another matter that dam's benefits include provision of drinking water, power generation and irrigation facilities.  And NBA is a group of environmental extremists who use pseudo-scientific agitprop to scuttle the development of the region and that the dam will provide agricultural benefits to millions of poor in India. So, Mr Khan, if you really believed in the cause of the tribals, you should have stuck around !!

3)  Now,  tactful and insightful media, made  him the voice of the nation. Aamir Khan tells the nation to be nice to foreigners. He even set an example for us, according to a popular glossy,  Aamir met a British woman, Jessica Hines on the sets of the movie ' Ghulam’ and were in a live-in relationship. Hines got pregnant and everything changed overnight. The happiest moment turned into a nightmare when Aamir told Hines to abort the child or forego their relationship. Its another matter, that Hines refused to oblige and give birth to “Jaan”, their  " alleged " love-child. He is 12 now and budding model. So, Mr Khan, you don't leave an occasion
to preach morality to the nation, should have done the right thing yourself !!

4) For anyone who has seen the movie ' 3 Idiots '  and read the book  ' 5 Point Someone'  knows, that the movie is based on the book. However, when Mr Chetan Bhagat, the author of the book, asked for appropriate credit, Aamir Khan says  " "He is trying to take away the credit from the film's writer Abhijat Joshi, which I am very upset about. It is an attempt on his part to try and take the credit away from the person who has actually worked on the script. It's very unfortunate. There should not be any confusion to anyone that Abhijat is our film's writer," . Its another matter, that Mr Chetan Bhagat is today, not only one of the most popular writers in India, but also a successful Bollywood screenwriter. So, Mr Khan, if you care so much about people's rights, why not give the writer his due credit ??

5)  When the veteran activist and Gandhian Anna Hazare's fast-unto-death campaign against corruption started, Aamir Khan too has joined the chorus. You see, Talash was about to release. Its another matter, the entire movement fizzled out in a while, when Arvind Kejriwal decided to form a political party AAP ( Aam Admi Party ). So Mr Khan, if you were so serious about the issue of corruption, you should have taken it forward, instead of making it just a PR stunt, before the release of your movie ?

6)  In the meanwhile, Mr Khan gets re-married to Kiran Rao. Not that its any of our business, but then we watched an episode of 'Satyamev Jayate'. Did I tell you about the show ? Well it was a show, where Aamir preached morality to the entire nation. He told us how to live. And in the meanwhile, created a whole lot of good-will for himself. The “solution” intended in his show were so obscure and so far away from reality that it was hilarious most of the times and the “problems” discussed had no novelty. In one of the episodes, the messiah discussed female infanticide. We all saw a teary eyed Aamir Khan  pouring his heart out for the girl child. Its another matter and again, none of our business, but then Aamir decides to have a surrogate baby. So, Mr Khan, could you not introspect and take in an orphan girl instead ?

7)  The oh-so-religious Aamir goes to Hajj and prays that all muslims go to Hajj unfailingly. He feels very close to god and a changed man on his return according to his interviews. “It was a moving and spiritually overawing. A very emotional and introspective moment for me, I am a Haji ” says the actor.  Then he produces a movie called PK. In the movie he advocated us, that
' Jo darte hain, wohi mandir jaate hain '  ( Only the cowards visit temples) and showed a person dressed as Lord Shiva running helter skelter . It another matter, that in-spite of hurting the Hindu sentiment, the movie managed to gross 700 plus crores. So, Mr Khan, going to Hajj and throwing stones at the devil is a spiritual experience, but pouring milk on Shivling is superstition !!

8) Aamir produces a sleazy, low budget movie called Delhi Belly. Just to give you an idea about the movie, in one scene, actor Kunal Roy Kapur  who plays, Nitin relieves himself in the loo, where the metal flush falls on his head. He cleans himself up with orange juice thereafter; his butt cheeks, he says, are now stuck to each other. So, basically, all in all, a crass movie. It had a song called ' Bhag Bhag DK Bose ' with equally grotesque wordings. A few years later, when the AIB show surfaces, which is full of expletives and adult jokes, Aamir calls it violent and vulgar. Its another matter, that after watching the AIB video, I figured that the characteristics of a being cool dude or babe are abusive language, making fun of male/female parts, being racist, passing lewd remarks/comments, laughing  on the jokes on your own mother’s private parts. Coming back to Aamir, so Mr Khan, its pretty ironic for a person who produced Delhi belly to get offended by the AIB roast. Dont you think ?

9) In one of his sermons on the show 'Satyamev Jayate', Aamir preached ethics to doctors. He turned  into a  ‘social superman’ and  objected at the medicines and drugs being sold without prescription. All that is great ! Its a very good thing that you did, Mr Khan. But the problem arose, when Aamir chose to endorse a online shopping website called Snapdeal. As per sources, he earned something between 15 to 20 crore in the deal. It was later discovered that the company was involved in selling illegal drugs without prescription online. Its another matter, that such a thing escaped the knowledge of Mr perfectionist, who is known in the industry for his through homework. So, Mr Khan, now that the truth is out,  why haven't you terminated the contract ?

10 )  On the same 'Satyamev Jayate' show, in one of the episodes, Aamir talks about the perils of drunk driving. He talks about making stringent laws and making sure that the culprits get punished. He then tweets " I pledge I will never be a bystander in an accident, will always help the bystander no matter what ".  And then his fellow actor Salman Khan, who was involved in a hit and run case in 2002, where one person died and four others were injured, got bail and interim relief from high court, Aamir Khan rejoiced. Its another matter, that the several concerns were raised by many people in the country, regarding the decision, but Aamir kept mum. So, Mr Khan, is friendship above morality ?

Some of my friends really think that its only after Modi government that we are facing the intolerance, but then there is a answer written in quora which reiterates what if India was different.

This is the answer to all my friends who think that India is 'intolerant' lately.

A country that till 18 months ago, was blessed with perfect communal harmony, the country that enjoyed an absolute freedom of expression, the country that had not banned a single book, movie or play.

No one had heard of the word ‘caste’ in my India and the word ‘religion’ either. There was no hunger, nor there was poverty. All the farmers were billionaires so no one ever committed suicide. It was a wonderful country where people could eat as much beef they wanted, anywhere they wanted. There were no laws banning cow slaughter in any state. No one had heard of words like corruption, murders and rape.

Communal violence and riots were unheard of. The years 1947 and 1984 skipped India, therefore there were no such things as partition riots and anti-Sikh riots. The year 2002 however did happen in a terrible place called Gujarat, the single stain on the spotless secular fabric of India! Kashmiri Pandits lived in the valley in peace and harmony with their neighbours. The ethnic cleansing of the valley never happened. Serial bomb blasts and terrorist attacks were also terms that did not exist.

Indians did not know what unhappiness or poverty or suffering meant. If they wanted to experience it, they would go on a conducted tour to Sudan or Palestine!

Such was the paradise that was my India!

Unfortunately, the good run did not last.

16th May 2014, I still remember that dark day - the day Fascist Patriarchal Hindu Male Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister!

That was the day India saw poverty, communal violence, law and order issues, farmer suicides, caste discrimination, gender discrimination, murders, rape, tax avoidance, spitting on the roads, litter in the streets, road rage and every other social evil that you can think of, for the very first time!!

Thanks to this evil guy Modi, communal violence has crossed all limits. Every day millions of people are being massacred in India. At this rate, there will be no voters left to cast their vote in 2019!

Some eminent historians and liberal thinkers have compared this regime to the Taliban - that social organisation formed by terrorists with no religion. The Taliban however is so hurt with this comparison that it wants Arvind Kejriwal to hold a dharna on its behalf!

We enlightened citizens know that oPM Modi is PERSONALLY responsible for everything from our constipation to clogged toilets at a railway station. I am upset that Modi has NOT issued a statement yet on why there are paan stains on the staircase leading to my building. Everything that is wrong in this country is the PM’s fault. NO ONE else is to be blamed.

Oh my poor poor India! What have you done to deserve this? I need to find a suitable award to return to protest against this.

I hope this Modi resigns soon and we liberal intellectuals can return to the perfect Utopian paradise that was India under the great leadership of intellectual icon, Rahul Gandhi.

A big thankyou for Richa for this beautiful insight.

No, no,no.. I am not anti islam, I am just anti hypocrisy

Birthday celebrations at my office

This post is just written to re cherish the beautiful memories of celebrating birthdays with my colleagues.

The rule here is:

1. Assume that the candle is lighted on and blow it off. We have sensitive fire detective systems here which even buzzes when a hot girl joins our office.

2. Birthday celebrations without coke and congress Marsala/chips are lame. We make sure those are present

3. Birthday parties are the must. We pool in money for a 1kg cake now and reap the expensive birthday treat later.

4. Birthday gifts are optional. At least , I am guessing so as I haven't received any as of now.

Three friends celebrated birthday recently. The Pretty Pratibha, Vibrant Vipin and Useful Uday 😊

Joyful Jyothsna,My manager celebrated her birthday with Gutsy Ganesh. This is one of my favorite pic.

With the facial, you can assume whose birthday it could be.. Yes, there is a legend who was born on 04th October.

Daily Inspiration : Extraordinary Achievement

You need not change your world in a day. Start off small. The thousand-mile journey begins by taking that first step. We grow great by degrees. Small daily steps lead to stunning results over time.

Those who use time wisely from an early age are rewarded with rich, productive and satisfying lives. Those who have never been exposed to the principle that "time mastery is life mastery" will never realize their enormous human potential. And they may live a life full of regret.

Never forget that the time spent enriching your non-work hours is never a waste. It makes you tremendously efficient during your working hours. Our biggest ideas often come during our most relaxed times.

When you devote yourself to excellence in everything you do, you begin to feel a greater sense of positive pride about the way you are conducting your days. This in turn increases self-respect and confidence, which in turn, release greater energy and passion. You begin to feel good about yourself. People who feel good about themselves do great work and create remarkable things. And this in turn, just makes them raise their standards of excellence even higher. It's an upward spiral that takes people to ever-increasing place of joy, meaning and internal peace.

Content Matters: Inspire yourself to write better content

Its always the thoughts which frames an article. Like now, All of a sudden I want to write. Each paragraph focusing on a center point to attract the readers to stay there and read forward easily. Pen was mightier than the sword a decade later but after watching Angelina Jolie's 'Wanted', I am damn sure you would agree that it is the keyboard which really matters now as soon as you see the scene where the hero strikes the other person using the keyboard.
But what does a good Content do? Following are the examples from the quotes which may help you to write or provide better content.

Dotorow says a content needs to create the feeling.  Not just raining,  you should feel the rain drop.  Much like Dan Brown's books, He makes you feel the scene. And then there are Chetan Bhagat 's which makes you feel for him and those readers.

Leo has his magic formula. Simple,  Memorable, Inviting and Fun.  This is much like your one night girlfriend. Well,  you will invite her back if it's memorable. Won't you?

' Chose your Niche' says Joe. Don't just 'bla bla' on the things you are not expert on. Do what you do the best.

Be the first one and the fastest one to write about any idea on a latest trend. Chances are that there would be another person thinking about the same idea. With the population outburst, chances are that somebody already thought of it.  But Success cones to the person who spoke about it first.  So if you got an idea,  go write it down.

Tim Ferris stresses you to think big and write better because life is so damn short. I understand this quote very much until I faced Bangalore traffic. Its a nightmare here. Life is definitely not that short.

Welleb asks you to create your own visual style. But creating this needs experience,  feedback and hardwork.  So write first, worry about feedback after you have written 10 articles.
Ofcourse,  Content is the King, But until you are content with the content,  Keep Editing the Shit!

Consistency

Well,  I have started many endeavours in life. Be it Book reviews, Playing table tennis, waking up at 5 am, learn guitar, attending online study courses.. But one thing I struggle alot is consistency.

I can be the most productive person on day 1 and out of happiness,  I can be the most unproductive person on day 2.

The time now is 5.30am and I am still not gone to the bed.

how do you be consistent :
- hiring a personal coach or staying with ur mummy!
- Define the value of the work and inspire yourself daily
- Avoid laziness,  Its the biggest enemy.
- Have a great timetable and stick it in many places.
-  Always motivate yourself,  motivation is like bathing.. you need it daily.

So this post is not just for you my friend,  this post is for me too.  Lets see if I can do something better to be consistent!

School Friends Meetup

School Friends are so damn special...  You know the feeling when you pull the legs of the most sober among us,  crack the old school joke,  Bring those memories and re-live it..  We then create a bonding which is forever.  This is the 3rd meetup in 8 yrs after 10th grade. And we wish to meet more....

Happy Monday.

If your friendship lasts more than 7yrs, physiologists say its last forever.

I dream of my friend But He is Dead!

Yes I get dreams of my dead friend!
Oh look it’s scary for people who don't know him, for those who didn't even meet him. But do you know what this means to me? it’s happiness.

I stay alone in the same room where my roommate stayed with me for 2 long years. He met with an terrific accident recently. The last thing I talked to him in person was “Dude, take care”.He just smiled and put his helmet and went away.He didn't come back.

He is still living with me , once In a while he comes in my dreams, talks to me and goes off. Sometimes I miss him here and curse him saying "kyun bhai, itna jaldi kya tha" .

The last dream that I saw was that he comes back and I hug him. I see he has put on weight and I say “ Bhai, marne ke baad weight aur bhi bada diya. Gym join karna jaldi”.
He didn't say anything. Thats all I know about that dream.

I don’t usually discuss with people about this. But still there are so many people asking me if I feel scared staying alone. I say, I really don’t. Though I miss him, I feel that he is here somewhere helping me , blessing me. I know , It’s a bit weird for most of us. But you know right, this is how I feel. After all I lost a closed one and no one can replace it, not even his ghost.
